BUILD HOMES ALONGSIDE FAMILIES, INTEGRATE ON A REMOTE ISLAND & CONNECT OVER NEW IDEAS FOR CONSCIOUS ACTION.
Our group of 50 entrepreneurs, creatives, and extraordinary humans will spend two days building homes for families living in slum conditions outside of the city: replacing shacks and structures made of tin and adobe, with old wood and dirt floors, subject to theft and disease.
Next, we will head to an island off the coast of Cartagena for 3 days where we learn from local experts about the country's history and culture, process our experiences with healers and experts in positive psychology, and connect with new friends over ideas for conscious action.

I M P A C T
Journey’s implementing partner TECHO works in 19 Latin American countries building transitionary homes and empowering communities to become self-sufficient. Families are selected through an application process, and put forth a portion of the cost of the home. We work alongside these families for 2 days and conclude with a ribbon cutting ceremony presenting the finished home.
