Glasswing International will lead the two-day school renovation project, where we will revitalize a local kindergarten or elementary school in an underserved neighborhood from start to finish.
Glasswing's philosophy is to improve on existing infrastructures in schools, hospitals and community centers, rather than building new ones. Their concept is simple: foster change by investing in a community’s existing strengths and resources – its infrastructure and its people.
We will work alongside local community members and students to paint the walls, garden, provide new learning materials, paint murals and help with basic renovations that will transform the school into a better learning environment for the students to learn and grow.

I’m leading a purpose-driven adventure in Mexico on INSERT DATES, 2017 and I want YOU to take part in this transformational retreat with us.
Here's how it looks…
You fly in Thursday aft/evening, and make your way to the hostel that tops Conde Nast's best Designed Hostels list. Our whole crew (from points all over the globe) head out for a taco tour, sapling the best of the local cuisine while we share some stories and cervezas.
On Friday morning we head to the build site, where you meet the children for whom you will be rebuilding a school. You and your team paint, build and restore all day, share lunch amongst gardening tools and paintbrushes, and once our work is complete, we will unveil the school for the children and have a celebration. Once the piñata party is complete, we all head into Mexico City that night for a delicious meal and some reflection on the experience.
Sunday, we wake up and do rooftop yoga, and gather our things to depart for Tepotzlan! Then, for the next three days, it’s all about chakra therapy tubs, yoga classes with specialized teachers, meditation on the sacred grounds of Hostal de la Luz, and enjoying a sacred Mayan sweat lodge.
You are back home by Wednesday night, feeling open, reset, and inspired: knowing that you just did something for schoolkids, as well as for yourself.
It’s all with an amazing impact travel community called Journey, and here is a video from a recent trip.
There are 4 spots left on this trip - let me know if I should hold one for you.
HERE IS THE LINK.
Let’s do this.
