WELLNESS INTERN

Journey is seeking a Wellness Intern to work with our NYC remote hub.

We are looking for a Wellness Intern in NYC. This role is for the right individual to be a key part of Journey’s growth and development, and includes: 

  • supporting Journey’s Curator for Health & Wellness line of Journeys,

  • researching and doing outreach to potential sponsors and partners,

  • liaising with trip leaders and ambassadors,

  • maintaining an up to date database on all leaders, sponsors and partners,

  • creating content and marketing materials for Journey promotion by leaders and partners,

  • Assist Curator with other tasks as needed.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in social entrepreneurship and impact, travel, and the wellness sector. This role can help you develop the knowledge, skills and experience that will help you position yourself for desired work in the future. 

You will also immerse yourself in the NYC wellness ecosystem and pioneer impact partnerships and purpose-led retreats. The work that you will be doing is integral to Journey, and will truly be making a difference in the lives of our partners’ beneficiaries and our participants.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with wellness expert, experience designer, and producer/filmmaker Karina Mackenzie.

A travel/food stipend is available to full time interns, and this internship can also count towards school credit.

DESIGN INTERN

Journey is seeking a Design Intern to work out of our LA office (or remote).

2. You have a design portfolio of relevant material to share
3. You are extremely digitally-savvy
4. You are seeking meaningful work in a fast-paced, fun environment
5. You are nice and fun to be around

We are looking for a rockstar Design intern for our LA office.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, startups, marketing and community-building. Activities will help you develop the knowledge, skills and experience that will help you position yourself for desired work in the future.

You will also immerse your self in the LA tech and entrepreneurship world, and build valuable relationships and connections that can drive your career forward. The work that you will be doing is integral to Journey, and will truly be making a difference in the lives of others.

The successful candidate should be interested in the following responsibilities:

1. Designing Social Media Marketing Materials
2. Designing decks, one-pagers, and branded pieces
3. Supporting website development and processing new content from Journeys

You will report directly to Director of Strategy Lauren Biegler, in the LA office. She is joined by a talented COO, CEO, Director of Experience, Community Manager, and 2 interns who currently make up the team.
