RED BULL x RYAN SHECKLER
We partnered with Red Bull and The Ryan Sheckler Foundation in March of 2017 to build a skate park in Costa Rica for underserved youth living in urban San Jose. We teamed up to tell a story around the positive impact of action sports, and the value of physical activity, mentorship and goal setting.
The Costa Rica municipal government backed the project, and we worked for 6 months to authorize the build on public land, with the mission to give access to everyone in the community. We brought together 80 American travelers, 40 Costa Rican youth skaters, and 100 local volunteers to participate. Together, we pushed past 10 years of disagreement around skate culture and opened a industry standard skate park on parks and rec land, aside soccer fields, basketball courts and parks.

We are proud of our ongoing partnership with The Thx! Co. We collaborate to giveaway multiple journeys every year and have sent winners to Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala and more.
WHY IT WORKS?
We take cool people that want to change the world on journeys. They are passionate about things they care about, they want to educate others on how they can get involved, and people are ready to listen. It’s our job to enable these change makers, and give them a soapbox to stand on.
